The Office of Public Relations
The Office of Public Relations was established to provide factual newsworthy information about the College to the general community, the campus community, and alumni. The Office of Public Relations seeks to satisfy the mandates of those assigned responsibilities by doing the following:
Educate the general public by publicizing newsworthy events, activities and accomplishments from the College community, in writing and producing news releases; organizing news conferences and coordinating the production of publications that promote the mission of the college.
Provide advice and strategic plans for how to best present information from faculty, staff and students to media outlets.
Respond to media request for photos of ABC community members or request for interviews. The office also provides general information about the College to media, interested organizations and individuals.
Publish monthly newsletter with updates of current campus events and news about faculty, staff and students.
