Programs of Study

The curriculum at ABC is designed to help you become a moral leader, a critical thinker, and a servant-leader. Take a look at our academic programs and you’ll recognize that ABC's commitment to training students to becomes agents of change in the world not only permeates the Biblical/Theological Studies degree but is a significant component of the degrees in other areas of study. Teachers, entrepreneurs, musicians, and case workers are ministers in their workplaces too.


Associate of Arts Degree, General Studies

The Associate of Arts program in General Studies degree involves a curriculum of basic first- and second-year courses which fulfill the general education requirements of most four-year institutions. The result is a well-rounded education that prepares students for transfer to bachelor's degree programs or for entry-level careers.

Bachelor of Arts Degree, Bible & Theology

The Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Theology is an academic degree that prepares students for seminary or other graduate school possibilities. This program prepares studies for Christian in leadership in the 21st century, preparing students for a variety of ministries. In addition to spiritual formation and exegetical skills essential to Christian Studies, graduates will be able to employ communication, leadership and organizational skills necessary for effective ministry.

Bachelor of Arts Degree, Behavior Studies

The Behavior Studies program prepares students for a wide variety of careers in clinical, social, educational, industrial and law enforcement environments. Graduates of the program become eligible for careers as addiction counselors, caseworkers, police officers, customer relations specialists, community activists and human resources personnel. Similarly, graduates are prepared for advanced training in the fields of psychology, counseling, social work, sociology, criminal justice and law.

Bachelor of Theology

The Bachelor of Arts in Theology is designed for students who already have an undergraduate degree but who have a desire to return to college to delve more deeply into biblical and theological studies in preparation for ministry or graduate studies in religion.  

Bachelors of Arts in Entrepreneurial Leadership

The Bachelor of Arts in Entrepreneurial Leadership Studies at American Baptist College is an interdisciplinary program based on areas of organizational and international leadership development designed within a Christian ministry framework. Through its integrative program style, the leadership program will combine courses from Business, Bible and Theology, and Behavioral Studies students will learn how skills learned in each area, combined with Christian ethical principles can transform their work into commercial and social ventures. 

Associates of Arts in Music and Arts

The Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Music and Arts is a sixty-hour program designed to give students the opportunity to explore a variety of options related to the field of music.
